Holsworthy Family Group is a community group based in Liverpool Military Area.
Holsworthy Family Group is a support group for the Defence Families in the community. We have been running in this area for many years! This is our first year under our new and improved name. We were created to help enable Defence families integrate into the community. We are always finding new exciting ways of adding to this.
The main aims of our group are to
• Provide Defence families to engage with other Defence families.
• Provide a sense of community to Defence families, especially those who may feel isolated with being separated from partners or overwhelmed by being a new location.
• Offer information and resources to new families in the area.
• Work closely with DCO and DSTA’s to provide support to ALL Defence families.
• Provide a friendly atmosphere for spouses and members to come meet and interact with other spouses and members.
• Provide activities, events & programs to suit all types of Defence families.
